新冠狀病毒COVID-19造成不分國界的嚴重疫情,於此同時,世界各國相關領域學者專家如火如荼投入研究之中,試圖盡快掌握病毒有關資訊。
其中,史丹佛大學(Standford University)的「以人為本AI研究院」(Stanford Human-Centered AI Institute, HAI)在4月1日舉辦一場以「COVID-19與AI」為主題的線上虛擬會議,召集了來自史丹佛大學及其他地區的專家,旨在增進對該病毒及其對社會的影響的理解。演講者主題涵蓋專業學術研究、政府、國際組織以及民間社會,全球社會共同致力於使全人類受益的解決方案。
值得一提的是,來自台灣的史丹佛大學副教授王智弘(Jason Wang)過去曾在台灣全民健保體檢小組擔任計畫經理,也以"Taiwan's Use of Data Analytics to Control COVID-19"為題,分享台灣經驗。整段直播影片目前可於Youtube平台觀看:
