Over the years, my research focused on exploring the developmental trajectory of infant speech perception and examining underlying factors that underpine this trend, such as native and foreign language experiences, acoustic features of infant-directed speech, musical experiences, social interactions, and statistical learning. Another research topic involves examining language and socio-cognitive development in childhood, such as language processing characteristics and theory of mind in children with language development disorders and autism, and examining the brain activation patterns associated with these cognitive processes.
