Our researches mainly focus on investigating the underlying neurophysiological mechanisms of sleep regulation, the neuropathogenesis and therapies of related neurological diseases (e.g., epilepsy, Parkinson’s disease, depression, anxiety and posttraumatic stress disorder [PTSD]), and the neural mechanisms of Chinese herbal medicines and acupuncture on insomnia treatment. We are currently interested in developing an artificial intelligent chip to treat the progression of epilepsy.
